Introducing Deep Tech New York (DTNY)

Our inaugural summit championing the Northeast’s contributions to Deep Tech

I love my colleagues in Boston, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and Detroit. But let’s face it, we’re long overdue to give New York the credit it deserves in becoming a powerhouse of Deep Tech innovation.

As Kevin, Brannon and I brainstormed ways to unite and champion our incredible community, we decided to dream up the type of event that all three of us were hungry to see in NYC — a lineup of speakers highlighting breakthrough technologies that will shape the next 50 years, across every aspect of Deep Tech, from robotics and manufacturing to space, energy, biotech, materials science, and more.

Thanks to our friends at Newlab, we’ll be hosting our inaugural Deep Tech New York (DTNY) summit at their Brooklyn location on January 28, 2026, gathering 300+ of the best founders, investors, scholars, and innovators that our city has to offer.
